Assigning this sculpt as a Boulonnais is an exceptional breed choice that highlights its refined crested neck and clean feathering

Great photo. I like the little glimmer in the eye, that adds a nice touch

While the color and movement on this horse are fantastic, showing this clean-legged, athletic mold as a Brabant puts it at a tough disadvantage against true European drafts that boast massive bone and heavy lower-leg feathering.

This entry captures the compact, muscular frame and dense lower-leg feathering of an Ardennes nicely, though greater anatomical definition through the stifle and a less pronounced dip in the back would strengthen its silhouette under close halter evaluation.

Diffused studio lighting illuminates both the dark points and warm body shading evenly against a clean, neutral sweep with a soft grounding shadow.

clean-legged, athletic build represents the modern American Belgian far better than the heavily feathered European Brabant standard.

The lighting against the backdrop is just running too hot on the shoulder, blowing out those sculpted folds and washing out the horse's rich sorrel color and muscle detail.
